Where Have We Been?

January and February always seem like slow months to me. Maybe because it is cold and we are either cooped up in the house or trying to run errands just to get out and about (or I am addicted to Facebook and can't seem to find time to blog anymore) . We did succeed in a few good adventures. We took Kyle ice-skating for the first time - we paid for 2 hours and he lasted about 15 minutes - but he had a good time and didn't do too bad. We went to the Maryland Science Center with my brother and his family and the kids (and adults) had a total blast. And it actually snowed a bit and Kyle got to get in some sledding with the big kids on the big hill. We had a successful Super Bowl party with the neighbors and it warmed up a bit and we got some really nice days at the park in.

As I am typing this, I am wearing my new glasses. Apparently "as we age" our eyes have trouble focusing from near to far, and "as we age" the more we need glasses and "as we age"....was my eye doctors favorite phrase. What he really meant to say is "you hit the wall at 35 and now you need glasses"!!!
